My DD screams/cries on and off in her sleep to but she usually had stopped and is dead to the world again by the time I've reached her. So it can't last more than a few minutes. How long is it going for?

it only lasts a couple of minutes but sometimes happens a couple of time in a night or day when she is sleeping. she is right next to me so i can see her and she is asleep. it is a different cry to the one she usually does.

When she snores, is she congested?

If they have difficultey getting that breathe in through the nose, they will cry and scream about it, then drift back off etc?

    Could it be that maybe?

My DD only does it during day sleeps. I often wonder if it's bad dreams to, what else could it be?

My DD doesn't snore either  I know you said its loud but that sounds so cute!

ETA after reading the above post that's not so cute at all

I would talk to your gp just in case it's congestion or sleep apnea.
DS did that when he had a stuffed nose
