    I don't see why you felt the need to then explain the sleeping arrangements of your children as if everyone could/should do it.
    If I had to go out and rent on my own I wouldn't move an hour away. I'd rent a 2bdr flat/unit, have 1 child in their own room and the other sleep with me. It's a sacrifice but I wouldn't have many other options.
    The pp was giving her something to consider and I think it was a good suggestion. Sometimes we think we can't do something but when you don't have many options you need to revisit those suggestions and have another think about it.

    I think renting is hard on a lot of people took us 6 months of applying to a billion places to find one.
