I'm used to it now, DF has always done shift work, right through our relationship, so I have always pretty much slept by myself 50% of the time.
Though after he had 18 months off work it did take a bit of getting used to when he went back to shift work.
I get to steal his pillow when he isn't here : D

It sucks at the beginning. DH was in the army so I slept alone a lot, but I did get used to it. Eventually I preferred it haha

DP leaves early for work in the morning, at first I would stay on my side. Now I end up with limbs everywhere being a bed hog. Its my only chance. Last night I had an elbow dug in between my shoulder blades for hours.

When I was in and out of hospital last year DP would constantly tell me how much he loved having the bed to himself in the first time since we got together. He was having movie nights (laying in bed eating junk and watching movies), laying diagonal etc etc. So much fun he didn't want to share a bed when I got back lol.
