    Default Shift allowence/ penalty rates

As i want to give centrelink the correct amount of income i have earnt this fortnight, i need to know if this is correct.

Say i was getting $20 per hour. Afternoon loading is 12.5%, evening is 15%, saturday is 50% and sunday is 75%. Do i just multiply my hourly rate by the loading rate?

Also does anyone know how many hours you do in one day before overtime starts? I think overtime allowance was 50% and does that go onto of the allowances you already get or cancel out the others?

I work in nursing at an aged care facility if that is any help at all.

    Thanks

I would ask your employee to be on the safe side, sucks reporting as a single mum and you don't want to get hit with a debt.

Some employers have different rules in regards to over time etc.

for nsw health overtime is time and a half (so 50% on top of your usual rate) for the first 2 hours and double time after that. you get overtime if you work over 76 hours/fortnight. this might be different for you as i guess the aged care facility is privately owned.
