With DS I felt great, I was 39 weeks , I'd been gardening all day and digging up plants , mowed the lawn , went to bed that night to watch Prisoner episodes and I'd literally just turned the light off at midnight to go to sleep when back pain hit me out of nowhere and contractions begun very quickly . I had been booked in for a c section 5 days later and never ever felt like I was going to go into labour that day or any other day so I was stunned .

DD- I made it to my booked c section date , didn't go into labour .

I went into another world with my first labour. Like all day I just felt vague and needed to be alone to rest. Several people commented on how quiet I was. I usually never shut up. With my last labour I was in pre labour for weeks before. I woke up in advanced labour so its hard to say how I had felt before. I had a fantastic sleep for the first time in ages .. I think my body is quite good and getting ready for labour actually. The only thing both my births have in common is a sudden ability to calm down and rest and also I completely emptied my bowels just before (sorry tmi) lol
