I got done just above Sydney for being in right hand lane too long. The policeman in undercover car was keeping pace with me so couldn't get over without speeding up. There was a line of traffic behind him and I had been driving all night. $235 fine and 3 points.

The worst one I've gotten was driving without reg (I hadn't payed the renewal in time) $500 fine. That could have actually payed the reg, was speweing.

DP was rushing to get to the hospital to visit her mother who was dying and was going 140 in a 90 zone :O.
Also her P plates flew off.
So that was $1100 and I think 5 points.
The cop didn't believe her when she said she was going to the hospital.

Worst one I had was not stopping at a stop sign $150 and 3 demerits!

Also when I first got my licence, I was young and dumb and would always get spedding fines!

Then I worked doing motor vehicle personal injury claims and that has cured me good and proper! think its even made me so scared and paranoid to drive on the road.

Also kinda related, always make sure your rego and licence is paid on time, as if your in an accident and they deem it to be your fault you could be hit with a recovery from third party insurance, some can be millions of dollars

33k of traffic fine?! Bit hard to believe, with how tough out laws are regarding unpaid fines here. If he did I'd assume he'd would have done some time in jail! Or at least have his license suspended for a long time.

This happened to me too! It was nine years before I was pulled over to be RBTd, and I was about 8 months pregnant at the time. Ive only been RBTd twice since then.

Dh just reminded me that we owe 75c to the Melbourne toll roads. When we moved back to WA our toll credit ran out, but it wont let us just pay that 75c, we have to recharge $20 (I think) and since we wont be taking you car back to vic anytime soon, theres no point
