Default **Spin Off.. Again** ordering a wedding dress online..

    Is it a good idea?
I plan on going to bridal stores and trying on dresses to see what cut/color/style suits me the best and get a dress maker to measure me, then I might look online for the same dress and order it.

    Any places you suggest?
    Pros and cons?
    Personal experiences?

I'm in the same boat as you!
Very scared of spending the money if it's not right

I love the idea of not having to pay so much for the style I want but I'm freaking out that it will be a shamble.

Buy it online 1 size bigger than you are, take it to a dress maker and have them fit it for you

I knew the kind of style i wanted and brought my dress of ebay. i brought a custom made dress and sent in my measurements and received the dress in this tiny box a few weeks later. when i saw the box i freaked out thinking i'd been had but my dress was just very tightly packed it was so well made ( i was told by a dressmaker) and fitted me perfectly

I got mine online. I tried on dresses in bridal stores to get what style suits me then just trawled and trawled until I found what I wanted and bought it.

It's a bit long so will have to get it heamed but apart from that I'mreally really happy!

    Ebay
    tbdress
    dhgate.com
    dinosdirect

Are the places I checked out. Got it from tbdress. These are the places your bridal stores get them from then mark them up to sell to you anyway

I got mine from Ivy & Aster www.ivyandster.com and they were amazing I had a beautiful knee length dress.

    It is named Morning Glory

It surpassed my expectations and the material lace and detail was fantastic and finished 2 weeks early.
