hair growth on face or other body parts
    Skin problems
    Absent or irregular periods
Weight gain or difficulty in losing weight

    What symptoms are you experiencing?
Maybe someone with similar symptoms to you might be able to help

It might not be PCOS but it might be something else.

Its really just 5 days of spotting from day 28 then full 7 day period. Its only second real period off pill though. So it may be normal until body gets used to it again

It could just be from coming off the pill. It can really wack your hormones around.

I have been having 7-11 day long periods, heavy and painful.
Pain during ovulation, or mid cycle.
Pain during and after sex, and I have been having the weird spotting behavior going on too.
This has been going on for quite a few years now.

I'm having a laparoscopy done in a few months time.
They are pretty certain it's endometriosis.

I would say of these symptoms have just come about since going off the pill then just give a few months to see if it gets back to normal.

If it doesn't or you feel like something isn't right then I would go see your dr.

Uterine polyps or fibroids can also cause spotting and long periods and hormone birth control can cause them to grow and cause some of the symptoms you have discribed.
They are usually picked up on an ultrasound.

So if it doesn't stop or get better, or of it gets worse I would be booking in to see your Dr.

    Good luck!
I hope it all works its self out for you Xx

The only symptoms I got were irregular periods, weight gain and very hard to lose weight. I figured I couldn't have it as I didn't have many of the symptoms.....but yep I do!

My symptoms were much the same as melimums plus added hair in all the wrong places i had thought nothing of them due to period being out of wack since age of 12. But going off pill does throw things even more out of wack, can take up to a year in some cases for everything to regulate. Head to your doc if you are concerned though.

Symptoms can vary wildly. You would need a vaginal ultrasound and androgen blood testing results to check officially.

I also have PCOS and the only symptom I had was no period after coming off the pill. It took 3 doctors before I finally found one who did bloods and ultrasound and got diagnosed. The others fobbed me off because I was skinny!!
