I just paid a $1,000 water bill in our rental property which hopefully the tenants will repay.

Last year one of their bills was $1500 and we thought there must be a leak but nope just them and their 3 teeange daughters having really long showers

Then service charge details, water $20.61, sewerage $83.92.

We have a water tank too that is for the toilet only I think?
Well we get usage charges $97, supply $30, sewerage $80 and drainage charge $20 = total $227

We're two adults+ 2 kids, it looks like we're about average. DH thinks its a massive bill but the kids and I are home most of the time so...

Its the heating bill I'm worried about this year tho, its been so cold in melb the heating is on most days now
