    Default Water Bills ..

How much are yours and how many people are in your household?

We used to rent with family so haven't had our own bill for years and ours was $287.10 for 2 adults and 2 children (4.5yo and 15 months). Just wanting to see if this is pretty normal or not, DP thinks yes, I think it's a lot.

$142.50 a quarter. We live in a unit block in Sydney and every unit has this same flat rate.

There are 2 adults and DD in our house and ours is $237 this quarter, down from $300 last quarter. I was happy with that.

I wish mine was $80-$100

Yes there's sewerage charges too.. That's probably it then.

    There's step1 water usage $61.64, step 2 $33.60, sewerage disposal $67.51.

Then service charge details, water $20.61, sewerage $83.92.

We have a water tank too that is for the toilet only I think?

Our last bill was $647 just for the excess, as we rent. Landlord pays the supply charge and first 34KL. That is for two adults and a 2 year old.

The issue with us is that once we use over 34KL the price goes up to $3.25 per KL and over 120KL it is $4.95 per KL which is pretty much double what it is else where in the country! But it's fair enough I suppose as our water comes from the Great Artesian Basin and goes through a private desalination plant so costly to provide.

Ours is ridiculously expensive. Our water provider has just built a multi million dollar water factory that we are all now paying for.

Our quarterly bill is around $400 and this includes actual water use of $95..
Wastewater availability connection is $244 and water availability $50.

We average .45kl of water a day for 2 adults and 3 kids..

I'm in Brisbane, and ours are about $250-$260 a quarter. More than half of that is access charges etc, as opposed to consumption.

We are two adults and a 3yo.
