I couldn't live without a dishwasher. It gets run every night and emptied in the morning. When it broke once, we had to wait a couple of weeks for the real estate to get someone out to fix it and it was the worst couple of weeks of my life especially since my massive pregnant belly would always end up wet after doing the dishes.

    Lol.:-)
I have been tempted! I usually run a scourer over it to remove the hard stuff and put it back in.

I couldnt live without it. Mines a marvel of german engineering - whisper quiet and does EVERYTHING! How I love it.

My mother on the other hand uses her brand new dishwasher as a place to store her plastic ware.

Yes I cook everything from scratch too, we are wheat/dairy/additive free so i spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I think I will have to look for nightwork or weekend work so I can buy a dishwasher and a thermy!

And yes when you have kidlets calling on you every minute its so hard to wear gloves I cut my hand a while back and had to keep it out of water for a couple of weeks, my right hand was soft as a babys b^m lol. (back to normal cracked and dry self now tho!)
