Well done but not chewy. I've never tried anything other then well done. What does it taste like say medium well?

Really? You have never even tried it? Live on the edge, try medium, still pink in the middle and order it when you are out.

I'm really surprised by how many people eat their steak blue.

I know some people who have it Rare and very rare, but not a lot who like it blue. My chef friend said that it can be quite hard to actually chew a blue steak as it is still very gel-like. Do those who eat it blue find this is the case?

    rare.
has to be bloody on the inside.

i used to write 'btf' on customers orders that were wanting a piece of charcoal (ie. burn the f*&@er). i'm also a steak snob - only filet mignon or an exceptionally thick scotch.

Medium rare. It's on my list of things to eat after this baby is here!

I won't eat well done steak. It's foul!

Medium to well - just after the pink has gone while it's still juicy is best. Making me hungry haven't had steak in ages. I love it with a creamy garlic sauce or gravy!!
