She then said I should take some time this month because I had been through alot. Wow, they actually took the human side and realised that I am not a number but a lady desperate to become a mother who just had her dreams pulled out from under her. She even said to call if I have any questions before the next cycle.
Am starting to feel a little better about my failed BFP, trying to acceot that it is a good sign that I had an implantation. Seems strange to try and think that it is good when it felt so bad when it happened though.
Glad they were compassionate and understanding. The nurses are lovely.. it's a rough ride but they help make it a little easier. Also glad your slowly feeling better, that emptiness feeling is hard but there is one more waiting for you.

Hope you girls are all doing well.

Minxyq, ouch!! Hope your arm heals quickly.

Fortitude, i'm sure it will work for you soon. You know you can get pregnant and carry children, you just need the right embryo. You have 3 kids (going by your signature)? If you've done it 3 times, you can do it again! That really suck's you haven't been happy with the nurses in the past (i think I'm at the same clinic as you), apart from one who can be a bit cold, i've found the others always lovely and caring. Make sure you give them some feedback after your cycle, you shouldn't have to feel like a number. I'm glad they were mover caring recently it's such a hard thing to go through.

I know i shouldn't, but keep thinking of milestones i should be passing. Like i should have been getting close to 10 weeks now, just a few weeks shy of the "safe zone" i am not looking forward to all that waiting again.

Fortitude: so glad today was as easy as it could be. Empathy and compassion is not much to ask for. I have complained in the past as I didn't want anyone to be treated like I was.

Clem: I understand looking at milestones. I'm not looking forward to Christmas Day as that will the day I was due...

    How's everyone's weekend been?

    Minx: how's the pain??

Afm: well I called the clinic yesterday and they said my results are not in from the karotype testing completed on the product of conception, so my appointment next week may need to be moved. I just want to know, but I also want something to show up- is that bad??

    Hi Ladies,

I have just been freaking out and found this thread and I am really hoping that someone might have some advice.......while I look at all the pregnant people in the office I am trying 2 hold it together right not.

    Wed 6/06/2012 I got a HCG level 66
Fri 8/06/2012 HCG went down to 45
Tues 12/06/2012 HCG went up 54

Pretty much new from the Fri that my baby dreams were over again and after the BT on Tues Dr told me 2 stop crinone and started to bleed Thurs.
I had to go back for a BT again today and I just got told my Progest has dropped to 2 so thats why I am bleeding but my HCG has gone up to 140. I am so scared that it is in my tube. I am so scared right now and all the nurse said was come back on Fri for another BT and we will go from there.

    Sorry to freak out

Don't be sorry for freaking out- you have just been on the rollercoaster from hell- you have every right to be freaked out!
I have just been through similar thing, but not the rising HcG part though.
All I can say is time eases the pain a little.
To be honest it sounds like a concern to me- if it were me I would be very quick to seek medical advice if you have with any unusual symptoms. Did they tell you sign to look for incase of Ectopic? Sharp pains etc? If you have anything like that go straight to emergency. You can't muck around with ectopic pregnancy.
Sometimes mother nature is a bit cruel isn't she?

Hi Toni!! We all freak out one time or another during this journey.., how far along are you?
It does sound like a possible ectopic due to the hcg increasing and decreasing, so I would be concerned as well but depending on how far along you are could be why they are taking a'lack lustre' approach. Also I don't think they can confirm an ectopic unless you are 4/5 wks + as nothing will show on an ultrasound..( I could be wrong though)
It's horrible I know, you finally get that positive and then it's ripped from you...

Your clinic will be wanting to see what is happening with your levels, are they beginning to double etc or go down and this can only be done over a couple of days..I'd question if an ultrasound can be done ( depending how far along you are) and another BT on Wednesday- 2 days is enough to see what your levels are doing!!

Just remember its our bodies( yes they are the experts but...) and we pay them, so if you need to be forceful do it!!! Then you will have no regrets..

    Good luck 🍀

Toni- I agree, go in earlier for a BT. It's your money and body.

    Hey Zakmick,

Pain is ok, so long as I don't overdo it. The plaster came off yesterday and the staples also came out (ouch).... now in a hinged brace. I look like Robochic. lol.
Anyway...called FS office today to let them know...the receptionist was very sympathetic and said she would note it on my records. So we are delaying another month before doing another cycle. I am not thinking about "another month wasted"... just focussing on healing and getting the tests done.
