Thanks for the update Amps!! It is definitely worth asking the question if women have had d&c etc. I'm glad the doctor was able to repair majority of the damage.

With my first d&c I was in so much pain that I think the relieving FS ( mine was away) botched it up, I believe I still went through the miscarriage even though I had the surgery. There was so many big clots coming out and I was in agony.

Then with my second D&c (my usual fs) I hardly bleed or had any pain at all- it was the way it was suppose to happen. I wonder sometimes that following my first d&c and if it was a botched job if it could have contributed to my other m/c.

    Will never know...

Zakmick: If I was in your shoes I would ask for a hysteroscope to see if you do having scarring in your uterus. This could prevent the embryo from attaching properly causing miscarriage. There are procedures that specialised surgeons can do that can repair this kind of damage. Sometimes its too many of the cells forming the layers inside that are scrapped away during a d&c that causes a thinner lining to form in spots, hence a m/c, if thats the spot where your embryo decided to attach.............I'm sorry to drone about it but I feel if I had of known this earlier we would have been heavily pregnant now and I want to spare anyone else the agony of trying again and again with little chance of success. There are definitive treatments for this condition and I would do my reasearch for a competant surgeon in your area.........hence why I flew thousands of kms to have it done. You have nothing to lose by asking.

    Sorry for the soapbox there

Boy oh boy, yes I understand.

The DAY I started AF from my failed BFP turned BFN I was at work and a team mate stopped to tell me her good news. Hooray for her. But no hooray for me.

xoxoxox HUGS I don't think people mean to be insensitive, it's just that it means so much to all of us and when it falls off the tracks it is a double blow to our fragile emotional states.

It is tough. I have become quite twisted sadly. one of the girls who's on maternity leave came to visit and I felt so uncomfortable to have her there and really couldn't sort out inside myself why. I said a brief hello and just kept working. I used to want a cuddle of the baby but nowadays I couldn't even think of it. I'll be glad to get past this stage or whatever I'm in!
Glad you're problem is sorted Amps. you must be so relieved to know what was going on.

    Hey beautiful girls.
I had my laparoscopy yesterday, have only just got out of hospital this afternoon.
They discovered endo in my pelvic region and removed it. They also did a d&c as I hadnt miscarried properly.
Does anyone know if there is any link between early miscarriage and endo?
Does having endo increase the chances of NK cells? I am yet to get tested for the NK cells, have to wait until the right cycle day.

I am feeling horrid after the surgery, never been in so much pain, and they gave me morphine which has made me ITCHY!

Will come back and do personals when Im not so doped up lol

    Thinking of you all xoxoxo

My sister gets itchy from morphine and takes an antihistamine to help. Not sure of your other questions though. Rest up and I hope you feel better x

Hi Zamick to answer your earlier question about the herbs yes I have some to take at start of cycle (some strange name - they are black pearls and I take 12 3 x daily) along with mother ones and then when finished will start on the stress relief ones. I need to ring my acupunturist on Monday though because I havent yet got AF and dont have any more stress relief ones to take.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend and keeping warm. Brghh it was only 3C when I went to teh gym this morning at 9am - very cold indeed.

Net3811 – I wish I could give u a hug it must be even harder going through this journey own ur own.

I went 2 a girls nite last nite & 1 of my friends (who fell preg by accident & just had 2 tell me as soon as she found out) was going 2 b there with her 1 month old – I tell u I wasn’t looking forward 2 going but decided 2 suck it up & I figured if it got 2 hard I’d just leave. Well she didn’t turn up & I was so happy I actually had a good time & was able 2 listen 2 my other friends “normal probs” & for a few hours I tried 2 4get about my own pain/probs.

Dandelion – I’m not sure if there is a direct link with endo & miscarriage but I no my sister was trying 2 fall for 9months had a lap which found endo, Dr got rid of that & she fell preg ta next month naturally. When Dr went into remove my tube she said I had some endo which she removed so here’s hoping that the FET works next time. My Dr said that if I had pain from the gas under my rib or in my shoulders 2 lay flat that should help (my sis wasn’t told that & was in heaps of pain). Dr also said that I should get AF 3-4 days after surgery but 9 days later & I actually think I may have O. Weird I know but my body just feels the way it normally does when I should be (yes I think I am going crazy & pretty emotional at the moment)

I guess it must be the part that wishes it was you?
Anyway, I noticed your next stage is donor embryo?
Have you started the process? Just wondered cause a lady on the 40+ link mentioned South African egg donations and I thought you might be interested in asking her about it.

    Forty (1!)

AFM After last cycle I am completely disengaged from any emotional hoping this time. Logical clinical hoping "follow what they tell me to do and see what happens" but really I am rather negative. I just think, yeah I'll never get pregnant, or if I had an implant it will fail again. This time I am just going through the motions.

Thanks Fort. I am on the Aussie Egg Donors forum with a view to listing for donor embies when I'm ready but I can't afford a donor egg cycle so haven't looked for that here let alone overseas. I was looking at having my last go next month but now am re-thinking a little. Like you I feel like I'm going through the motions a bit but I do want one last go. I started a bit of a health kick but fell off the wagon as soon as AF started and have only just picked it up again. I asked the Dr to test my zinc. They didn't want to but it has come back as 10.5 and I was told this was normal. I asked what the range was and was told 9 -19. So I do know what I'm doing after all, I am low in zinc, well on the low end anyway! I'm kind of worried as I've been taking 2 zinc supplment tablets instead of 1 and eating a can of smoked oysters most nights for a few weeks. I was worried I'd be over the limit rather than so low. I really have no idea how to boost it. I was thinking of trying again after improving my zinc levels so kind of stuck now. Pretty sure one of the yoga girls is pregnant too damn her.
