    My experience of natural FET..

Ring FS day 1 of my cycle
Day 10 blood test and scan to check lining
Second daily blood tests until surge shows (my cycles range between 24-34 days so I tend to test for longer)
When surge shows FS books the transfer time (time between O and transfer depends on your embie e.g. Day 3 embie is transferred 3 days after ovulation)

We do add progesterone for my cycles and I start two days before transfer

I find them much much easier than.a stim cycle. I generally feel much better and more energetic!

Gosh this thread moves fast! Its one of my favourite IVF threads so far, you are all such a great bunch of girls, i hope we can all get preggers this cycle or the next couple of months and all have bubba's next year.

Angel, i agree with Zamick, the first one is the hardest, then you just get used to the drill.

KandP hope you're doing well and the witch turns up soon, so you can get going.

Sariele, hope AF hurries up for you. She never turns up when you want her!! Will you start jabbing first day of AF?

Bella, hope you are doing ok. I've been quite nonchalant this cycle after my m/c last cycle. It really takes a lot of heart to find the energy to try again.

Mrs Jaguar, hope the stims are goings well. I've luckily never been on syneral, and it sounds awful! I'm the same, would rather just do an injection.

Princess of hearts, it sucks being in limbo land. I do think that this whole process mucks up your cycles though, so spotting in between, and late AF is probably not uncommon at all. So many hormones that mix up our system.

Hi lib77, wow sounds lie you'll have a loot of eggs!

Emmylou, whats your next step? Besides packing for hawaii!

B4us, hope AF turns up soon.

Tiggerfields, sounds like your follies are all growing well.

Peonies, hope AF shows up for you soon too. I know the feeling of just wanting to get going.

Frannie, its so annoying waiting for HCG to come down, hope it doesn't take too long for you so you can get back on the horse.

Mum to chris, have everything crossed for you for a smooth EPU and a good haul of eggs.

Dancing, SO hope its a BFP for you this cycle. I did a 5 day transfer, so i'm only 2 days behind you. hope the tww goes fast!

Ngaiz, enjoy your trip (and your wine!).

Gstef, it would be perfect timing. Hope that little embie is settling in and that you're taking it easy.

Lackers, FET's are easy over in 2 mins, so much less stressful. Crinone is evil stuff!

These down reg cycles sound quite involved, my FS never even mentioned on for us. We just did an antagonist, about 12 days of stemming, then trigger then epu. The down reg ones must be a bit more stressful if they go for longer.

I went to acupuncture which was so lovely and relaxing, i love my chinese guy. He's just so sweet, and he always says a prayer over my belly. Then spent the afternoon/night with my best friend and their two little toddlers, fell asleep on the couch watching Dr Seuss. I hope this little embie is making itself at home, but i have to admit, I'm much calmer this cycle. I'm just trying to accept that if its meant to be it will work, if its not, we'll try again in August. Did my first clexane tonight, youchie! Back to being a pincushion too.

Hope all you ladies are doing well.

P.S. god i LOVE the scene in Pride and Prejudice (for anyone watching) where Mr Darcy comes striding through the mist. Be still my beating heart.

Unfortunately no, I'm down regging so nothing will be happening til CD 21, but I'm impatient because I want to book my flight back to Perth for it, and start counting down. Still nothing this morning, not even any cramps or anything. Grr.

I've only seen the movie once so I don't really remember it, but I LOVE the BBC series from the '90s, I've watched it countless times. Mmm, Colin Firth.

Hi ladies. So much is happening on this thread.
Just a quick post as on phone. Have EPU on Monday. 6 lead follies and a few that might catch up.

Mumtochris - hope I get to see you on Monday. Will probably be when I come out of recovery and before you go in.

Ngaiz. Enjoy your holiday... Wine sounds good about now.

Good luck to all the ladies in the TWW. I hope those little embies are settling in for the winter.

Oh i just had to put my hand up for the Colin Firth Mr Darcy. I have the series on my computer and have also watched it SO many times

I have an AMH of 9.1 (which is on the low end of the normal scale for my age - or the high end of the low scale hehe), and got 9 eggs on my last cycle - 5 mature, 4 fertilised, but the quality degraded as they grew. My first cycle was a down reg, and i was on Synarel.

Interestingly, i had no side effects at all from Synarel! I've used it before for the treatment of endometriosis in 1993 when it was first marketed (I was 15). I think i was one of the first batch of Australian females to use it. It really helped decrease my endo, so I was quite keen to use it to down regulate, as I remember it having no side effects and i think i was so scared of the side effects i'd get from all the IVF meds (not knowing was the worst) that I was happy there was at least 1 drug I actually knew how I reacted to.

My cancelled cycle just gone and the one i'll start again in a couple of weeks is an antagonist. I think my FS (Wazza) wants to try it to see if we get different results, which i'm all for. Even though my AMH isn't high and i'm at no risk of OHSS and have no PCOS, i didn't have an extremely low egg number so i'm hoping that with the addition of DHEA (i will have been on it for 6 weeks by the time of my next cycle), prednisone, extended use of clexane and feldene and with the change up of protocol to antagonist, we may get some beautiful little eggs. If not, i'm going to try Saizen next. Talking with Ben Kroon, he said that the only studies that have actually proven an increase in quality have been DHEA and HGH, so i'll give it one try.

Clementine - I just want AF to hurry up too! I had some cramping last night, randomly, but know it's too early as i think i ovulated a few days ago.

I was wondering if any of you had any luck with the Maybe Baby Ovulation test kits? I tried to use it every morning and would sometimes get something that kinda looked like ferning, but never a "wow, THAT'S ferning" result. I used the other kits, that are similar to pregnancy tests - they'd show a second line when your LH surged.

    Good luck Fortitude!

Speaking of Colin Firth... a friend of mine who lives in the USA just posted a PICTURE with him on her wall. Apparently he & Reese Witherspoon were filming a movie in her home town, she said he was really nice. (I died a little.)
