No Joyful July? Or Awesome August?

This is the first time I've ever seen one of these threads that didn't have that kind of motivating alliterative title! Oh well. I'll think of it as Joyful July in my head anyway. (and it always is, because my b'day is in July! )

Hopefully I'm in for July too. Just awaiting AF now - after a m/c a month ago. And then will go for ICSI#2 on the next AF after that.

Clem - I would say nice to see you again, but had hoped for both of us it would be in a Due In thread, not back here again.

Sorry didn't realise that was protocol to put a joyful etc name with the title.. Was just going off the may/ June one which also didn't have one..
Not sure how to edit the title if anyone wants to suggest a new name for the thread..
Can only I do it coz I started the thread or can anyone..

    I was just teasing!

Didn't see the May/June one, as wasn't really looking at that time, I guess. Previously all the threads I've seen have just been for each month with titles like Marvellous March, Amazing April etc. But it totally makes no difference - as I said, I was just joking around.

Maybe if you try to edit the original post. Then click Go Advanced, you should have the opportunity to change the subject line there. Whether it changes it for the whole thread, I'm not sure.

Were back on the cell block peonies. I hope this is the lucky one too, for all of us. Are you doing a full stim cycle? Were going back for a frozen cycle. I go off the pill in about 10 days and start the meds after af arrives. The waiting this cycle has been torture, it took ages for my hcg to come down.

Hope all you other ladies are doing well.

I've really gotten to be a whingey poo about ivf recently. The last few weeks I feel totally exhausted by it all. A lot of the time I just don't want to go to work.

I can't imagine what it must feel like to not have to think about ivf. No drs appointments, no blood tests or scans, no needles, no calculating cycle dates, no drugs. No arms covered in track marks and bruises like mine are at the moment. Sounds like heaven!!

Peonies, did you have to wait two af's before you can start or did you have to wait for hcg to come down? I hope af turns up on time for you nothing worse than this awful waiting!

Are you going to do anything different this time? I'm going to try clexane injections. The dr said she thinks we've just had bad luck the last two and apparently it can't hurt.

Clem - well, if yours took ages then mine must really be taking ages as my m/c was before yours & my HCG is still not quite down. It was 28 this week, so that's great. Progesterone had a spike too, so I'm expecting AF. Hopefully sooner rather than later. But the FS wants me to wait another month before going again. I'm just anxious to go, but if AF comes soon & then not too far away next time I'm ok with that.

Full stim cycle, I'm afraid. We didn't get any frosties last time. They discarded the 2 embryos we had left, including one blast because apparently they weren't good enogh to freeze. That makes me angry, as I don't think they really know which embies are the good ones at all.

    Hi Ladies

    Having a "me" post here
I am having an extremely hard time trying to stay positive and to want to keep going.
I don't seem to be able to get an appointment ANYWHERE to have the surgery we think will help us have a baby, at least not until middle of July.
I really feel like giving up altogether now. We planned to stop trying for a baby by my 40th B'day, which is 10 months away, I just don't see us getting pregnant by then with all this waiting.
The odds are so against us and I feel emotionally exhausted, I don't think I can take anymore dissappointment.
I am waiting for Dr Vancaillie's office in Sydney to phone me back with hopefully a date, but the lady who makes the appointments is supervising their office move today and may not be in until Tuesday. My clinic's specialist can't get me in until maybe August in Perth. I've cried for and hour already today.
Am I really not meant to have this part of my life??? This thought is running constantly through my head.

Oh well, life goes on, have to go check my home-made Tomato and Zucchini Soup I've got simmering in my slow-cooker.

Hope you are all having a good day!
