Wazza's advice is for me to have a glass of wine on the day of ET to relax (if a glass of wine is relaxing to me), and to keep having a coffee a day if i want - but to not overdo anything. He's never mentioned overheating or anything either; i've taken that onboard myself.
Also, a big YES to having this thread renamed and made sticky! Regardless of when i end up with my BFP, i won't stop posting in here
Our FS says to continue as per normal after transfer except no hot showers or baths. I figure that when I was pregnant with my other children I was still horse riding, exercising, living normally with no idea I was pregnant and they stuck. Our FS says most women prefer to go home and rest on the day of transfer as it helps them psychologically. Depending on which day we transfer I may have to have transfer and go back to work. Does anyone know the reasoning behind not climbing stairs?
P.s.congrats to all who have bfp's, I am so happy for you all.
Sending hugs to those who need it.
You are all amazing women with so much strength.
Something totally non-IVF related, but i heard this song recently - it's by The Temper Trap - a fantastic Melbourne band. I thought i'd share it with you ladies - the music is so epic and it just makes me feel so happy to listen to it. I love music I've linked to the youtube video. It may not be everyones' cup of team, but it's definitely mine
The Temper Trap - Trembling Hands
LKeith, that really freaks me out. What is your house is two story like ours? Don't stack the dishwasher? Don't cook? No chocs? No sex? I thought orgasm would help little embie stick? We do all of these things, I feel like now we have no hope of little embies sticking
What about the other ladies? Do your clinics tell you this as well?
Apologies for repeated posts, clearly having issues this morning!
Yes to making the thread a sticky!!
FS tells me to rest on day of transfer and preferably day after, he will give me a doc certificate if required.
Other than that go on as normal, his advice is don't do anything you may regret later.
