Jaandaw - my clinic doesn't say much really. My FS is happy for us to go back to work and do whatever really so pleases don't freak out too much. When I got pregnant with DS (naturally) I did everything. Lifted heavy things and my job can be really heavy too and everything turned out fine. But easy to say don't freak out then do it! Good luck!

KandP - I also feel the same. Genuinely happy for all the BFP in this thread and also genuinely heartbroken when people get their bfn. We know what each other has to go through and how much hope and heartbreak we have all endured.

Peonies - any signs or symptoms yet? I keep overanalyzing everything. Does anyone else think about when their little one will be due if they get pregnant while in their tww? or is it just crazy me who likes to drive herself batty?
That's what I'm thinking....people that get pregnant naturally or the ones that don't know they are pregnant until later in their pregnancy are living life like normal so I don't see why we can't. Especially since all of your doctors don't tell you all these rules. They can't make that much of a difference...

Wazza's advice is for me to have a glass of wine on the day of ET to relax (if a glass of wine is relaxing to me), and to keep having a coffee a day if i want - but to not overdo anything. He's never mentioned overheating or anything either; i've taken that onboard myself.

Also, a big YES to having this thread renamed and made sticky! Regardless of when i end up with my BFP, i won't stop posting in here

Our FS says to continue as per normal after transfer except no hot showers or baths. I figure that when I was pregnant with my other children I was still horse riding, exercising, living normally with no idea I was pregnant and they stuck. Our FS says most women prefer to go home and rest on the day of transfer as it helps them psychologically. Depending on which day we transfer I may have to have transfer and go back to work. Does anyone know the reasoning behind not climbing stairs?

Something totally non-IVF related, but i heard this song recently - it's by The Temper Trap - a fantastic Melbourne band. I thought i'd share it with you ladies - the music is so epic and it just makes me feel so happy to listen to it. I love music I've linked to the youtube video. It may not be everyones' cup of team, but it's definitely mine

LKeith, that really freaks me out. What is your house is two story like ours? Don't stack the dishwasher? Don't cook? No chocs? No sex? I thought orgasm would help little embie stick? We do all of these things, I feel like now we have no hope of little embies sticking

What about the other ladies? Do your clinics tell you this as well?

Love this song and Temper Trap they do the most amazing video clips. I really love music too, and one of my all time favourite video clips of recent years is temper traps "love lost".

Yes to making the thread a sticky!!

FS tells me to rest on day of transfer and preferably day after, he will give me a doc certificate if required.

Other than that go on as normal, his advice is don't do anything you may regret later.
