Wow Toni, sounds familiar! What is with that?! Did they give any explanation? Mine started to go down but then went back up again and I'm still bleeding, day 14. I thought for sure that would've been flushing me out and it would've gone down, but apparently not. We see our specialist tomorrow... Did they tell you the numbers? Just curious...

    Hi Frannie,
Numbers have been 66, 45, 54, 140, 268 - would have liked to have seen these sort of figures in the 1st wk but nope. Nurse said that this is happening 2 a few of the other ladies they r treating & no reason they just have to keep an eye on it. I didn't bleed that much & pretty much stopped until about half an hr ago it has started back up so I am hoping that is good news. I am seriously considering a bottle of wine & a couple of nurofen.

Lil baby steps- I was on 75 Gonal F for my first Ivf cycle and I overstimulated with 22 mature follicles 40+ in total. Had to have lucrin trigger and freeze all cycle from OHSS risk.
So I guess it really depends on your body and how it responds. When they start you low they can always bump you up, but when you overstim they have to freeze all like with me and I've just waited 8 weeks for my ovaries to recover. Good luck!!

Hugs to all you ladies with hcg playing tricks. How frustrating!

Hi guys, thought i might join in. I'm not great at keeping up with threads but going to try! I've started jabbing today for a FET which should be around 7 July.

My HCG is finally back to zero! Well, less than 2 is the result but apparently that means zero. Yay! Only 6.5 weeks after the miscarriage. Sorry girls who are dealing with the waiting game - definitely been there. Sorry to tell you that it's taken this long for my HCG to come all the way down, and that I've had various levels of spotting & bleeding the whole time. (I was spotting & bleeding during the pregnancy as well anyway) But I was 7 weeks pregnant and my HCG was well over 4000 by that point, so I'm sure yours will not take so long.

I had first session with David Lau for acupuncture tonight. I did acu for last cycle, at a place in Newtown but we have since moved to the Hills. I wanted to do acu again, as the last cycle was successful (even if it didn't stick) but didn't want to go all the way to Newtown just for that, so someone recommended David. I thought someone mentioned him also earlier on this thread?

As for starting on low dose - yes, I was too. My FS thought I had the appearance of polycystic ovaries and might be a risk for OHSS so he started me on 125 Puregon. When my oestrogen hadn't really taken off all that much after a few days the dose went up to 250. I looked like I had lots of follies by trigger time, but at EPU apparently some of the eggs just didn't want to come out. We got 7 eggs & all but 1 fertilised. But didn't end up with any frosties as they're so strict on the criteria & take them through to day 6. This time we're going to start at 175 Puregon & ready to go up to 250 again. I think it's very normal for the first cycle to start cautiously.

At the clinic for 3rd round of BT and 2nd round US...it probably won't be too long now. On 125 Puregon and Citrotide. FS said to reduce the dose from 150 puregon so I don't produce as many eggs which can result in poor quality eggs.

    Hey guys,

Thanks so much for all the advice and info. From what you guys are telling me, its very normal to "do a test run" as such, just to see how my body takes it.
Mrs Jaguar: That's absolutely nuts....quads!!!!!! Oh my!! I hope that doesn't happen lol I'll be happy with 1! Best of luck to you for your next round

Toni 81:Thanks for the tips, Im so sorry to hear about your situation. I would definately be having that wine and nurofen! Let's hope all goes well

1xbabyplease: Hi! yeah that's what I though, they can go up but once its there they cant get it down lol. Is Gonal F the same thing as Puregon?

Peoniesarepretty: im sorry to hear about your loss I hope you can start again soon .... fingers crossed for a sticky one!

Rachael3: did you overstimulate or did they reduce you because you eggs did not come out the best quality???

I have to tell you girls i'm really excited to start sniffing and jabbing! I honestly never thought I would say that in a sentence ha ha but I am. It's all the waiting that's driving my bonkers!!

So I decided to add in a tracking section so for those (me included) wont have to sit in a section for ages which really isn't where they r up to and to make us feel like we r getting closer to jabbing or sniffing

Hi Girls, hope you are all going well.

Gstef- how are you going? Hope those follies are growing well for you.

Toni how are you going? Those HCG levels sound really confusing you poor thing, nothing worse than limbo land.

Frannies place have you HSG’s come down to zero? It’s so frustrating waiting for it come down, especially when you just want to be able to move on with then next thing. I’ve never heard of them going up after they have gone down? Maybe it will just start to go down again.

Ngaiz, hope your follies are all growing well for you and there are lots of good eggs in there.

Fortitude, how are you going? Are you doing clexane this time? The FS said i could try it this time, so hopefully it will get us over the egde.

Wunsi, sorry about your last cycle, that must have been tough. I think if you had 20 eggs harvested last time, they probably will want you to wait one cycle in between to let your ovaries go down a bit. My first full cycle was a chemical, but i had to wait a month in between even to do an FET because they wanted my ovaries to go down a bit.

Mrs Jaguar, yay!! Funny how excited we get to be back on the rollercoaster J

Midnite, not long to wait now. Hope the upped dose works out for you.

Amps, best of luck to you chick. Really hope the surgery goes well!

Welcome Lilbabysteps. We started out on 115 gonal, then 2nd cycle was 142 which was fairly successful (we got 1 fresh and 5 frozen embryo’s). I think when you are relatively young, they start you off lower, they can always increase while in the cycle. My FS won’t put 2 in for us, we’ve asked several times.

Welcome Kellbell J are you doing natural or medicated?

Peonies, i’m so glad its finally come down for you. It’s awful being in that limbo. Hopefully now you can have a little break from blood tests and recharge before the next cycle.

    Kdsd, not long now!

AFM – AF has finally started to arrive to day, so I’ll start popping estradoil tomorrow, yay! So we’ll have transfer if all goes well on the 12th of July. I’m going to try clexane injections this time too. Fingers crossed this is the lucky one for us.
