Workingmumma - strangely enough, I had lots of pain after that first EPU (with 7 eggs). later that day, and the next day it was really bad - I needed the Panadeine Forte. We thought my hubby would be the one in lots of pain, as he had a microdissection of his testicles on the same day. But the dr kindly sent him home with a nice big dose of long wearing local anaesthetic in the area, because he was fine for the first 2 days & I was not. Then the tables turned. It hit him like a Mack truck, just as I was feeling better (poor thing, all that for no sperm anyway). So anyway, this time I was expecting pain and they got more eggs. But I was fine really. I think last time it was from my FS stabbing around all those follicles trying to get get eggs out that didn't want to come out. they either weren't mature, or the trigger didn't trigger them all properly.
But 7 frosties! That is awesome!

KandP - woo hoo for AF!!! About time she showed up. Yay to getting started. And yes, next stop Babytown, indeed!

Lackers - I'm doing fine thanks, buddy. How are you? I've been quite crampy, but that started before the transfer anyway. It is the progesterone pessaries. My last cycle was so long that AF apparently wouldn't be due untiil 21st (according to P Tracker app) . But that was all messed up because of the m/c, so who knows? I do normally have longer cycles though, like 31-35 days. But I think your normal cycle means nothing in IVF because the ovulation is manipulated - so AF should be thinking it wants to come about 14 days or so after EPU, no? I have a BT tomorrow to check progesterone levels, because I had issues with it being low last time. That's why I have the joy of 3 pessaries per day. Also, I swear they're keeping me awake - having so much difficult getting to sleep at night. Probably because I'm not having my usual couple of wines. haha

TJ - oh no sweetie. Sorry to hear about the BFN.

Thanks Lackers, tj, peonies and kids and anyone I missed.

Back from EPU. Feeling ok, just a bi of period like pain. Chugging the water and gatorade at the moment. They collected 25 eggs, eek! Not sure how many were mature. The girl next to me was told her number and then a littl later that hers were mature. No one mentioned anything about maturity to me. Anyone lose get told about their maturity (eggs that is, I think the direction of this thread at times shows that we all have a kid still inside us )?

So restin up today and will be checking in all day just because I can!

    Squeak, how are you doing?

Wow, 25! Rest up. A scientist will probably call you later in the day to tell you about the eggs. x

    25 eggs wow!!!

    Feel better Lucky.

Cycle 1 I had EPU 36 hours. This time they pushed it out to 38 hours to give them more time to mature.
