Tigger- I'm gonna miss you and your posts, always entertaining at a strenuous time. I wish you all the best for the next little bit. I hope you feel up to another go soon.

Workingmumma - glad you've checked in and feeling better. I thought of you when. Had mymUS on Friday which showed 34 follicles! On Monday it appeared more like 20 that may mature, will know tomorrow after EPU. I got 20 last time, but no ohss. I hope I'm ok this time too.

Zacmick - I've taken your advice and taking 600ml powerade each day. May increase to 1L after tomorrow.

So, I think I'm catching hubby's man flu. (But as a lady, of course.) He has been sick since retrieval and is just getting over it. I was fine all last week, but have Had the sore throat/stuffy nose combo the last few mornings.

Surely this can't be good for the TWW? I'm only 4dp5dt.

Oh no Mrs J! I caught my hubby's virus a couple of weeks ago. Ask your FS or doctor if you can take olive leaf extract - i've heard from loads of people it can cut the severity and duration of a flu/virus. I was on Sambucol (Black Elderberry Extract) and i think it did a good job (they're on par)... Sambucol is very sugary though (hehe, it tastes like ribena), so i don't know if that is good in the 2WW. Keep up your water and vitamin C honey. As for getting sick - i don't think it should have any bearing on your little emby - pregnant women get sick all the time and i'm sure i've read of women in their 2WW getting crook and getting their BFP. It'll be fine

Yayyyyy!!! Dancing in happiness for you. About time !!!! *hugs*

I'll see what I can take and make sure that I look after myself. Lots of fluids and vitamin c. Are there any over the counter cold meds safe to take?

KandP - woohoo!! back on the IVF train toot toot!! Next stop babytown!

MrsJ - Hope you feel better soon. And hope you're not going crazy in the tww! I'm only 2dp5dt and feel like I'm going nutty already.

Wunsi - good luck for EPU! And praying for a lot of them to fertilize. I remember feeling devastated for you last cycle.

Peonies - how are you my cycle buddy? Judging by my last IVF cycle AF could be here by Sunday..... Hopefully not.

MrsJ - if you start getting a temp, and if you are comfortable taking paracetamol, it might be a good idea to take some just to keep your body temp close to normal, as well as lots of R & R and being doted on until you feel better. Hope you feel better soon.

So I caved this morning and did a hpt, it is a bfn. So I'd say the bt tomorrow will be the same as I'm 13dp3dt, with spotting getting heavier.

Lackers, I hope af stays away for the next 9 months.

KandP, good luck with this cycle, hope it sticks.

Mrsj, I also read that when an embie implants it suppresses your immune system a bit so your body doesn't attack it, so then you are more susceptible to getting sick.

Wunsi, good luck with epu today!!!

Everyone else, hope your all doing great, and for you all. (I can only see up to 10posts at a time on my iPad, sorry no other personals, might see if I an change it somehow)
