Tony81, if you still have one tube, then if you ovulate on that side you still have a good chance to fall pregnant naturally, I noticed in your signature, you have done before. Also even if you don't have any tubes, there is a slight chance, I think it is around 1%, that your uterus didn't quite heal properly and left a tiny hole in the scar tissue from where your tube was removed, and an egg isn't that big, so it wouldn't need to be a real big hole for it to slip thru. Could be the case even if you have one tube still too and o from the other side. These little miracles do happen, not often but they do. I would organize to get a bt done either from the fert clinic or gp ASAP, as you never know unless you give it a go!!!! I am also unsure if they would of given you anything with hcg in it, or if you would still have traces left from the ectopic. Hope this helps you in some way
Lap and Hyst, May 2012. Both tubes damaged and blocked. Both tubes removed. Poor responder to stim meds.

Disney - to be honest, I believe that what you think is feeling AF coming, is in fact caused by the progesterone support. Pessaries, crinone etc, will give you a feeling of AF-like crampiness. I noticed it this time before I even had the transfer.

Toni - wow. I'm sure it is possible. Had you had a BT to confirm hcg was back to 0 after your ectopic?

Sorry no personals but feeling really crappy at the moment.. Just thought I'd ask if anyone had flu like symptoms from gonal-f?? I'm on day 4 and since last night have had a burning throat, really achy, chills and headaches.. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or it is possible.. I asked last week when I was on just lucrin if I could take cold n flu tablets (had just a cold then nothing like now) and they said yes at that stage of my cycle.. Not sure if that meant just then or up until transfer.. Advil is just not working.. Don't want to bother them again if it's a stupid question

I don't think flu-like symptoms are a side effect hun, probably just a crappy co-incidence. And can't help you on the medication either, but I would def. check with the clinic before taking anything.

Toni, hope it's a sticky BFP!

Sorry yet again for no personals. I am still reading, and just wanted to post so that I can say hi, and so I don't get post-lazy just because I'm on my iPad.

Weird thing happened with my Lucrin this morning; I put the needle in, and usually I put it in the full length. This morning once I got it in about two-thirds to three-quarters of the way, it stopped, and I got pinprick pain on the inside like I'd jabbed something hard. So I just had to inject it there. Very strange, I've never had that happen before.

Oh man, I hear you! I've had a cold since 3 days past transfer and I'm not taking anything. Too scared! The nights are the worst. Feel better.

Hi girls, I have been in hospital for 2 nights already with ohss and probably here for another 3 or 4 doc said. I don't wish this on any of you so take the warnings seriously, not that it will always stop it but it might help.

The only positive is it means I got early hcg blood tests. Hcg at 13dpo 56 and 14dpo was 76 so FS pretty happy with those numbers for how early it is

Ok trying 2 keep it short I got af 9 days after ectopic & tube removed it is now 34 days since then so as I had some left over hpt from last time I did 1 & got a bfp! Is that even possible? Could they have left something in me 2 give me a false test?
    Hi Toni

It's definitely possible and you are a lot more fertile after a miscarriage.

So long as you haven't had any hcg shots and another hpt confirms I would say its looking very positive.

    Good luck xx
