    Unhappy Early ultrasound results help!

    Hi everyone

I had a dating scan last week at 7wks 5 days . Scan went well as far as I knew and heartbeat was seen 153 bpm. I went to my gp afterwards and she gave me a copy of the ultrasound report but didnt mention anything wrong. I was reading the report tonight and it said no yolk sac identified. Im really worried now and have tried to find information but can find much on a scan that shows a heartbeat but no yolk sac. Only the other way around. Does anybody know anything about this, I can't imagine that it is a good thing? I was really excited about this pregnancy but now I'm really worried.

The yolk sack has probably already broken back down. Follow the lead of the dr and don't worry. Sounds like a beautiful strong heartbeat

Thank you so much! The few things I did read were really negative but since I changed my searching to it breaking down instead it seems positive. I had no idea that it even did that now I feel pretty silly. I really appreciate the quick reply thanks heaps.
