    Talking Also New :)

    Hey Guys,

I'm new to BubHub and my DP and I have now officially moved into our new house together! We're not actively TTC at the moment but we're definitely wanting to start a family together in the not too distant future once we get a little more financially stable. I haven't really been able to talk to a lot of people about it because most of them are just judgemental and tell me I'm too young to be thinking about starting a family but it's our choice. I live in Brisbane and anyone with any recommendations feel free to message me for a chat!

Looking forward to meeting you guys and thanks for reading!

    Hi Naeda!

Just wondering if it affects you having people sort of judge you or whatever for being "too young" in their opinion? It kind of freaks me out about what they will think/say if I do get pregnant because obviously everybody wants support etc.

Thanks and good luck to you too!

    Default Also New :)

    Hayy,
Yeah it does bother me at times especially when people go "oh your engaged why? Your so young"
But eventually you learn to just brush it off .i am scared about the whole pregnancy side and what people will think then, but at the end of the day I guess we have to realise it's our lives and we are the ones who live it not everyone else .but the people we have told have been nothing but supportive .its just our non immediate circle that are a bit more judgmental .and I guess all that matters is that close circle that you do have ...

Hope you guys get the support your looking for !! And are successful in your tries

Hi guys welcome and good luck with your TTC journey. I was 23 when i had my dd I was also single att, it was hard as most of my friends were still out partying and being pregnant made that hard for me. I list a lot of friends. I don't feel that age matters, when your ready to have that family you should. I will warn you that I was treated like dirt in the hospital when I had my dd, the staff were horrible, they kept telling me I was way to young to be a single mum, my dd father left the day I told him I was utd. My parents were a great help and I joined mothers group whom I still see some of. Sometimes I think yes I was to young but my dd and I have a great relationship because i feel I'm still young enough (ill be 34 next week) to enjoy my time with her, my dd is now 10, I'm now married and am starting a new journey with dh as we are TTC to make our family bigger.
    Good luck.
