Default Midwife recommendations / general advice?

    Hi

I'm 11 weeks pregnant with my third little one, yay, and we are considering a home birth this time around. My first two hospital births were fine, but I'd really like to have this babe at home, for all the reasons people home birth . We are still trying to sort out whether we can afford it.

I'm on the Tweed Coast, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a midwife? I have emailed one that has come highly recommended to me but I haven't heard back from her yet, she might already have a full schedule, and there seem to be so many around I was hoping to get a head start with finding another one. I know its a personal thing, but just wanted to ask.

I'm pretty easy going, my previous births were great and both pregnancies (and this one so far) have been really easy. I don't want a lot of intervention and can't see myself having a lot of appointments. Any advice though would be greatly received!

    Thanks so much..

Oh that's great advice, thanks so much I'll definitely try there, and yes that would be lovely if you could let me know if you hear anything. I'm really excited about the prospect of a homebirth but I also feel like I've just discovered a massive world I know nothing about thank you again for your response!
