All the drs and CHNs have told me to go by their adjusted age. However, I had DS at 35 weeks and he is developmentally on track. He is 6.3mths adjusted and is commando crawling, saying mumma and dadda, sitting with support.

Yes absolutely, that was drummed into me by the docs. They apparently catch up and even out when they are 2 years of age. They tell u to go by the adjusted age, my bub is 6 months but born at 28 weeks I.e 3 months early, whilst he doesn't do everything a 6 months old bub does he is very close to it and far more advanced than a 3 month old. In saying that a lot of bubs are slower or quicker learning than the average even if they are born full term.

I was told that you should go by their corrected age for milestones rather than their actual age.

However our DD pretty much kept up with her actual age for milestones. She was 6 weeks early. She was rolling by 3/4 months I think, crawling at 7 months, sitting at 8 and walking at around 14 months.
