What is the fhr? And what colour is your spotting?

I had an ectopic in jan and miscarriage in march. Now pregnant again at 7 weeks. Had brown spotting for 2 weeks. Was going out of my mind. My ob said the baby is looking strong and the spotting could be old blood from miscarriage and ectopic or could be from a sensitive cervix seeing as its so blood rich during pregnancy.

I do try to stay as calm as possible but being my first (esp after an ectopic) its hard not to get a little worried, my obgyn is going to give me another ultrasound tomorrow and will happily give them to me every week if I need it, but I just wish I didn't even have to think about it.

I haven't had any bad cramps lately, so that is good - it won't feel real until I'm holding little bub in my arms in 7 months time. All the best and again, many thanks!
My OB said the risk of miscarriage after 7 weeks with a strong heart rate drops to 4%. So 4 out of 100 is pretty rare.

Oh wow, that stat made me smile! My spotting is pale pink/brown with no cramping.

(fhr?) I'm not sure what this is- but happy to answer if you can explain

I had an ectopic in December (devastating isn't it) and the 12 week mark can't come around quick enough. How is your pregnancy going?

Fetal heart rate. The ectopic was a pretty scary experience and emotionally draining back and forth from hospital bloods and ultrasound sayings it a miscarriage oh but then your hcg level goes up. Just felt like it was never going to end.

Are your scans pretty much exact for your dates! My OB is really happy how things are going

I took my last 2 pregnancies for granted but after this trot now falling pregnancy is an absolute miricale and I am feeling truly blessed lol.

When is your next scan or bloods?

i had spotting with my last pregnancy from week 8 until week 13. Mostly brown and constant.

Everything was fine with my son, he is 9 months old now.

the best thing to do is get a scan with a scanning place for women - they specialise in pregnancy and can put your mind at ease. They are able to see where the bleeding is coming from usually and in my case it was probably the cervix because there was no sign of blood anywhere near him.

About 30% of pregnancies have bleeding without being connected to a miscarriage.

I am sure your baby is just fine - but go get that ultrasound from a womens ultrasound place to put your mind at ease - they will tell you more than a visit to your OB because at this stage an ultrasound is the best thing you can get to an answer.

I'm seeing my ob tomorrow but going to ultrasound for women is a good idea! At 6 weeks bubs heart beat was 140bmp last week it was stronger still, not sure how much but dr said very strong.

I had heavy bleeding, then spotting and light bleeding every monday up until week 8 I think, then it stopped. The baby was fine but I was calling up the nurses every week! They checked my hcg levels which were really good and then the 7 week scan put my mind to rest. I ignored the spotting after that and it stopped shortly after.
