When they take me through their house and tell me how much EVERYTHING costs.

I'm just visiting because my DH insisted. I'm not here to appraise your belongings.

I am another one that gets annoyed with inside pets. I don't have pets so I find them hard to deal with especially dogs that jump u on your lap! I understand that it's their home though so not much I can do.

Messy houses annoy me. I like to keep my house clean and organised. It doesn't take long to keep it clean. I guess reading this thread I now know my clean house will annoy my guests but I don't care I feel rather blue and down if I let my house get messy I clean it for my sanity rather than to please guests.

People whose houses are really cold or really hot. I know people have different ideas of what's a comfortable temperature, but it's nice to think of your guests, too. I never turn our heater on as i'm happpy enough to just go get my dressing gown if i'm cold, but if i have guests I'll always turn it on an hour before they get there so they don't freeze.

Hey, that bent fork probably cost $149.99 originally but because they are such good customers they got it for $69.99.... *sigh*

I know what you mean though!!

Being invited over for a BBQ, getting there and there is no where to sit, and they haven't tidied up outside.
They have tied their dog up cause its vicious, but it spends the ENTIRE time barking and whining...
    Fun.......

I am a dog person (own two very large dogs myself), but I don't particularly like other peoples dogs slobbering all over me, scratching me, biting me etc. I always give anyones dogs a cuddle when I visit someone but just don't like the hyperactive untrained ones. My dogs are extremely well trained.

For example my sisters dog is gorgeous, but has a lack of training so when you get there they have puppy pens everywhere to try keep her inplaces, she runs the house (as in she's boss), jumps up and bites you on the hands, the legs, the feet, snaps at your face (albiet she's just excited to see you not aggressive at all), she's also not socialised. But she's just too full on and it gets frustrating. It's a lack of training. I love the dog but it drives me nuts.

Also people that dont let me take my own dishes out. I like to clean up my own rubbish or take my own dishes out. If I am invited for dinner I like too help do dishes after. I dont take over was just always told its polite to help if you've had a meal at someones house.

So it urks me when people wait on me hand and foot.

Also, when DD is excited (shes only 8.5 months) she flaps her arms and feet around. It annoys me when we visit someone and they want to hold her, then she accidently bops them in the face or arm and they crack it. Like DP's Nan, was holding DD's aunty (the aunty is about 3 weeks old) and wanted to say goodbye to DD. DD accidently bumped DP's nan in the face with her hand (not even touching the baby) and filthy that DP's nan gave DD was horrible, she pushed passed her and walked away with this horrible look. That annoyed me.

Oh dear. I hate to think how many people I have offended by not letting them do anything to help clean etc when they come for dinner.

I like to wait on my guests and (hopefully) make them feel special.
