Default 2yr old and her bottle.

My dd is 2 next month. And still has a bottle. She has it to go to sleep se wants one during the night, and all the time during the day. Iv tried sipy cups but it dosnt work. She has prob from morning to morning between 6-8 bottles a day of milk. We are going thro 3 litres every 2 days. And I for the life of me can't remember how I got my DS of the bottle. But I think he went of him self. I don't mind her drinking milk but I think she needs to cut back. She dosnt drink much of anything else.
How did everyone else ween their little ones

I think you the bottle before bed is fine, and the one overnight.

If she is not eating well, I would be cutting back. That is too many bottles IMO.

My son is 22 months and only on 2 bottles a day, which I don't have a problem with.

My 22 month old was similar, now she only has max 3 bottles, one for bedtime, one for nap time and one if she wakes overnight.
I just stopped giving her the others, and gave her snacks instead, or water. It's way too much dairy.

I wouldn't cut it out completely yet, but I would only be letting her have 2 or 3 max. I would try and cut out the middle of the night one.

I stopped my daughter cold turkey because she started waking heaps overnight for milk.

I think you should cut down slowly, I think they only need 600 ml a day?? Or giving her less and less in each bottle, making sure you offer plenty of water through out the day. I normally leave a drink on the coffee table for my DS to drink when he wants.

I just wanted to add that I don't think she should have any bottles during the day, apart from the one before her nap.

I think I read after 1, 500ml is the maximum recommend for any kind of milk as they fill up on it and don't get enough nutrients
