Default Getting rid of the bottle ?

My 17 month old ds will
Not drink from a sippy cup I think I have bought just about every brand there is!!
He is on cows milk and also has water throughout the day but refuses to drink it from a sippy cup!! I have tried just giving it to him in the sippy cup but he will throw it aroun and scream blue murder untill I change it too a bottle!!
I never had the trouble changing my dd's they were off a bottle at 13 months!!

So Any ideas on how I can get him off ??

My DS was the same. He drinks out of sippy cups now, but it was a process!

We got him is own drink bottle - like a sports pop top one to drink out of - one that is the same as one that I drink out of. We also just gave him normal cups, with just a little but of liquid in it, to learn how to drink from a cup. It was very messy for a while!

I had massive troubles breaking the bottle addiction with DS1. In the end i just threw them all out and dealt with whinging for a couple of days.

I found when it came to sippy cups the ones with the straws in them were best. Both of my kids would drink from a straw before any other kind of cup so might be worth a try?

Same! None of my kids would drink from sippy cups with spouts but all will drink from those nuby straw no spill cups. I think it's hard and frustrating for them Trying to work out how to suck differently from the spouts, especially the Heinz ones.. I wasted some money on those :-(

He has been drinking from straws for a while now so that might work
