Oh and bringing a friend when visiting. You cant invite someone to visit my home, sorry. Happened when jasper was born - at the hospital too, and my home - hes a baby, not a side show, but if your just coming for a newborn cuddle (and I get newborns are like crack to some people) its $5 entry fee .

My sister hates it cos handbags get left on the floor when you visit the ladies, and at parks/cafes/cinema etc, she sees it the same as a shoe basically.

I hang my bag in the hook on the back of the toilet stall door and if we're out it goes in the bottom of the pram.

I never put my bag on the floor, it either goes on the hook, stays on my shoulder, or sits on my lap in the cinema etc. It's not a germ thing, though, its because I've had my bag pinched off the floor in cafes etc.

My husband is and I grew up immersed in Maori culture.

we grew up in a strong pub culture where hooks on backs of doors are not common tbh, so though i'm not freaked out by a handbag on a table, i just never put mind there out of habit but each to their own etc etc

Eww, I never put my bag on the floor in public toilets. If there's no hook I hang it on the lock, and failing that I hang it on the corner of the door or my shoulder.

Same. Occasionally it might end up on the floor - rarely though. Mainly because if it goes too far below my eye line there's a good chance id forget it!!!

Hello fellow toilet lid DOWN-er. Do people not realise that poo particles float around in the air and settle on things in the bathroom post flush?
Putting the toilet lid down prior to flushing is the one thing I have trained DP to do since moving in together.

I have a friend who comes over and spends half the time texting other people. Um, why come over if you dont want to talk?
