I really feel for you... How long is DP gone for? My DH is a Navy man and has been away several times, the longest for 5 months. Wow, it is hard going, and looking back, it was terribly hard- I had 2 boys under 3 at the time. The thing that got me through while he was gone was organsing and planning a holiday for when he got back! It is such a shame you are out of town and in a non-child friendly house. Is there a way you can get some new accommodation organised through Defence? Failing that, is there a bus that can run you and the girls into town every now and again? Or perhaps be a bit more forceful with your family and friends who can maybe help you out a bit?? I wish you all the best and hope your DP makes a speedy return
