    Default C-section at MAITLAND Public

Has anyone had a c-section at Maitland Public? I now have to go there as I have GD and my small hospital won't let me birth there.
    - Did you have a good experience with your c-section?
    - Was your baby kept with you in recovery (if she/he was fine) or did they take the baby away? (this is what is worrying me the most I don't want to be away from my baby for 1-2 hours, I want her with me...when I had my boys at my other hospital they didn't leave my side)
    - Anything else to tell me? I am hoping to be transfered back to my original hospital ASAP or maybe even to the private hospital.

THANKS heaps for your replys I am a bit stressed about it. 2.3 weeks to go.
