Default ***semi spin of*** Do you let your kids watch music videos?

    Totally and utterly banned here.
We all love music and I listen to a lot of the latest music. But no way no how will my kids be watching music clips on a Saturday morning while I can help it.

    No way!!!!
My kids only watch ABC2 or DVDs. I am trying to shield them from advertising for as long as possible.
I don't put the news or really anything on if the kids are around.

Yep. Mine do. I think there has only been once that I have change the channel for one song and it was a recent one of Rhianna's (can't remember the name). But anywho. I grew up watching them, and I'm fine.

I'm pretty sure they've changed a bit over the last 5-10 years though?

    Same here!
They only watch about 5 hours a week, all ABC2 or G-rated movies.

No. I will let her watch a recording of live shows from certain bands, but not film clips. No way.

This is true. Its something my kids have always seen ( and honestly I'm sure they have seen a lot worse) so its nothing to them. Dd1 sometimes comments how silly they look by other then that they don't really care what's happening, they are more interested in dancing around to the music lol.

    Yep....!!!

But my answer doesn't really count as Leila is only 10 weeks old. I face her towards me in the kitchen when im cooking/tidying up so i can talk to her and I usually have Max or country music channel on tv in the background... The little bugger will actually turn her head the complete other to watch tv!! Haha
