    Default Who uses sma formula? And have you read the ingreidients?!?!?

    Omg ive just switched my two to Bellamy's organic toddler drink and decided to read and compare the differences! I am disgusted in my self for not reading it earlier..did everybody know that it has palm oil in it?!?!?

    Palm oil is sourced from forests in South East Asia. It's predominantly responsible for the destruction of rainforest, and orangutan habitats. It's become quite an issue and a lot of companies (MacDonalds and KFC most recently) have stopped using it to try and decrease the demand.

    The unfortunate thing is a lot of products use palm oil - cosmetics and chocolate are two of the biggest culprits. I also believe there are still a lot of fast food outlets that cook with it too

    It's made by Wyeth who make S26 as well as a number of other formulas. I would imagine it is not just one of their formulas that contain palm oil.

    I was just shocked that I hadn't read it earlier glad I switched now!! And the other thing I'm loving about Bellamy's is it is actually owned and I think made in Tasmania

    Actually, companies who make soap/ detergent products are by far the largest culprits, the amounts used by any food manufacturers/ companies pale in comparison.... and these detergents and soaps are used by most people in large quantities
    Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

    Also palm oil can be classified as just vegetable oil here as Australia's labeling laws are a joke
