Default Help please. Doctor, physio or just give it time?

I was picking up DS to put him into his high chair today when my back seized up. Lucky he was still close to the floor as I dropped him (as gently as I could) and fell to the ground - I couldn't move for ages. I was trying to get DS to grab my phone for me, which any other time he would do so obviously he wouldn't today.

I finally managed to get to the phone and i'm waiting for my sister to get here.

Anyway, my question - who should I go see? I can sit ok, and can lean forward ok, but it really, really hurts to stand or walk

    TIA

I would try and apply heat packs heated in microwave. If it eases the pain you will know it is muscular.

Masaging will help. If it doesnt help with heat i would recommend chiro too. Pain relief. Nurofen? Only if not pregnant though.

Hi kazza, sorry for the late reply. I don't get emails for my threads anymore.

I've been seeing a physio and I'm almost back to normal. I'm still not allowed to exercise (other than stretches) and I have to ice my back a couple of times a day, bit I'm better than I expected to be.

    Thanks for asking ❤
