the difficulty with no collecting is it can effect your ftb payments. If you choose to have a private agreement of them paying nothing, centrelink will still base your ftb etc on what they were assessed at. it kind of a **** situation i reckon, cause even if you morally don't agree with collecting cs from a non-contact parent, your don't really have a choice. so collect without guilt I say, you have no other option really.
