    Default Eczema gone wrong??

    003.jpg

My daughter has had this on both her ankles (other ankle is MUCH worse but wouldnt upload the pic grr) for months. It started as eczema, but nothing we've tried has gotten rid of it. We've done bath oils, over the counter eczema creams, steroid creams, covering it, leaving it uncovered.... everything!! Its still irritating her

Go to the beach and put her foot in the water, it may hurt but should help clear it up

oo good thought mummanna. Will do that this weekend We've got a dr appointment (AGAIN grr) tomorrow arvo, so no doubt she'll be attacked with a different steroid, just so over it. She's 5 and in prep, so it doesnt help that she needs her shoes on all day and she gets so irritated by it

It doesnt look like eczema now from what I can see, but Im not a doctor. Was it a blister or did the skin just peel off? Did you see the post on here the other day about coconut oil working wonders for eczema?

I agree it looks infected..if it was eczema or some other form of dermatitis that has been scratched and irritated by shoes etc...it looks like something has gotten into the broken skin.
See what your doc says - but something anti bacterial might help.
