    Default Nappy overflow tsunami!

Help! I am at my wit's end.

Every morning, without fail, DS overflows his nappy in bed. It's not because the nappy has become full and can't absorb any more, it is because he is doing such a massive wee the nappy just can't contain it!

I have tried larger nappies, smaller nappies, cloth nappies, different brands of nappies, cutting down his fluid intake before bed, changing his nappy in the middle of the night, doing them up tighter/looser... And nothing is working!

He isn't ready to be toilet trained, despite him "hanging on" for most of the night, so that's not my answer.

    Any ideas?!

Hmmm do you make sure his penis is pointing down when you put the nappy on?

I've heard of people putting on two nappies and poking holes in the first one so that any overflow gets caught by the one on top. Never had to try it but keeping it in mind if I face the overflow issue!

Yep, his penis is always pointing down when we put his nappies on and still is when we take them off.

I think I might have to try the two nappies... Nothing to lose! Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, we did two nappies for a while when ds1 was little. We put a mcn with two inserts over the top of a Huggies disposable. That worked for us. Otherwise we were putting towels under him and needing to change his clothes all the time too.
