    Default Another PPL question.

I returned from maternity leave in September 2011 and will be going on maternity leave again in July 2012 (so back at work for 10 mths) and have not had any other leave without pay (other than prior to September) I have been at my job for over 9 years.

So...... With the question been working for 10 mths out of 13 without longer than eight weeks between working days? Do I qualify?

As far as I know, yes. I am in the same boat, will have been back at work for 10 months pretty much exactly to the day when I go on mat leave again without more than a few days between shifts in that time. I planned it so this would be the earliest we could get pregnant so we could get the ppl again and we then got pg first month! I think there's a minimum number of hours you need to work a week but it's like 1-2 shifts a week depending on your shift length!

    Hi,
I am pretty sure 13 months (392 days to be exact) have to pass, and u need to have been classed as working for 10 of those months, so I don't think you are eligible until the 392nd or 393rd day after returning to work.

it's just that out of the previous 13 months you have to have worked at least 10 months within that 13 to qualify. I've had a few other people check it out too and you can count paid leave as work too, so annual leave prior to mat leave all counts as 'work', do you could actually leave 10 months minus whatever leave you have owing that you want to take and stilll get ppl.
