    Default Teething looks black

    hi all
my DS is 15 months old, seems to be getting his top back teeth and his gum looks black!
i have had my mum and partner look at it and they think its cause the tooth is trying to cut that its a blood blister. it dont look like its the actual tooth just the gum.
has anyone else had this? should i take my DS to the dentist straight away??

I have just gone through this with DS at 14months. It looked purpleish to a black colour. And a massive lump. Took him to the doctor then she said to the dentist. The dentist said its just blood. The dentist said he is getting all 4 first molars at once he had 4 massive lumps but only 1 lump was coloured. He has now got 3. I only noticed it when he was laughing otherwise he was fine.

ooh thats good. im relieved now thank you so much!
i thought it was blood but thought it might of been like a rotten tooth even though my DS has no sugar i thought maybe his nana might of been cheeky and given him some when im not around.
i can now breathe and not stress lol
    Thank you
