I love them and I have them. I find it funny that people who have tatts don't give a damn if you don't have any but many (by no means ALL) people without them are quite vocal in their opinions of what others should do with their bodies in regards to tatts.

Yeah that's so true. I have a lot of tattoos and peoples reactions still baffle me. I keep mine covered for work, and if people find out I have them it's like their opinion of my changes in an instant. I don't understand... I'm the exact same person I was 2 minutes ago when you didn't know I had tattoos?!

yes, even when they are bad !!!!

think it is their body, so who am i to judge. i don't judge people on their clothes, piercings, hair or other ways people express themselves so tattoos are no different.

    and yes, i am inked

Love them, especially on women! Some I can appreciate more then others though, depending on the quality and originality

It really depends, tattoos can look good on males AND females, or they can look really bad on males AND females. It just depends what it is, where it is and how good the tattoo artist who did it was.

I don't care who has tattoos, although I'm a tattoo snob, I only like *good* artwork or old tattoos on old people-looks awesome. Keep your incorrectly rendered southern stars and lopsided, patchy Tinkerbelles; I like to see artwork that was done by an artist.

I saw a lady in Woolies last week that must have been pushing 80, with her little four wheeled walker going so slowly, we walked past her, I glanced down and her hands were covered in these massive red roses with thorns trailing down her fingers. She was basa$$; I wouldn't dare to go on her lawn.

I don't understand the arguement "Well they're not going to look so beautiful when you're 80!"

Well find me a sexually attractive 80 year old woman in perfect shape and I'll consider that a valid point.

If I'm going to be old and wrinkly anyway, I want to be old and wrinkly and colourful!

I think they look nice, but due to the current risk of discrimination I think someone should wait until middle age before considering such a thing.

On girls no, I think you should be an adult before you get them. My niece is only 17 and now has a huge tat on her shoulder. I think it is a shame as some ppl just get it done by any tat artist and some of the work is very average.
Sil spent a fortune getting hers removed as it wasn't who she was anymore.
