Default When was your baby born ?

I am 4 days away from my due date & have never gone into natural labor before (i was induced at 35 weeks with DD1 & at 39 weeks with DD2) this is also the longest i've been pregnant. I know that it could happen any day now or 2 weeks from now

Just wondering when your bub was born (gest age) & what signs you had leading up to going into labor ? I'm actually a bit scared i won't be able to tell it's real labor & she will be born at home lol I've already had 2 false alarms which i thought was the real deal. I was checked last friday & they said cervix is soft.

    Thanks ladies

DS1 - 39+6, lost mucous plug a few days before, also had a hindwater leak, so we knew it was going to happen one way or another within 48 hours due to risk of infection (had i known then what i know now, i wouldn't have stressed so much about the 48 hour thing, babe was fine!).

DS2 - 38, lost mucous plug the day before, no pre labour, waters broke, labour didn't start until about 4 hours after waters breaking.

You'll know when it's real labour, those memoires never leave you Good luck, your wee one will be on the way soon enough

37 weeks. Felt 'off' all morning, lots of trips to toilet. In the arvo felt like I needed to go to the toilet again, stepped on the ensuite tiles and my waters broke. In the week leading up to it I was just absolutely exhausted and I had small shooting pains down there from the bubba being so low.

    Good luck!

DS was born at 38+6. I had no pre-labour or any clue about what was coming. Waters broke at 9:30pm, contractions started straight away, left for hospital at 10:30pm when they were 3mins apart, he was born at 12:47am.

I thought it was too early for hospital, worried they would send me home. But everyone else with me (DP, MIL and my mum) knew it was real and forced me to go to hospital.

Edit: I just remembered that the morning before I went into labour I had a weird feeling down there, like I had a tampon in?

DS (first baby) was a spontaneous labour and born at 41+1. First signs were a bloody show the morning before, then light period type pains progressing into more painful period type pains. Being my first I fobbed the pains off and didn't realise I was in labour until it was well and truly established

Had a stretch & sweep at 40+5 and was already 2cm dilated so knew it was close. Prior to that had no signs and I was really looking out for them!

Lost my plug after the sweep and woke up next day perfectly fine but contractions started within 30 mins of getting up.

    It will happen eventually

My DS was born at 42+2 weeks gestation, spontaneous labour.

I started losing my plug a few days before then and had pre-labour during this time as well. Random bouts of contractions that would start to get more painful and close together and then die off completely! Very frustrating.

Hope you don't have to wait too much longer

Spontaneous labour with DS at 40+2, absolutely no indicators I was about to go into labour until my waters broke, DS arrived 8 hours later.

Spontaneous at 39+5 with no signs whatsoever. I was 1 of those that didn't realise I was in labour
