I developed psoriasis just weeks after having my 3rd baby. I had spots everywhere!! My doctor first thought I had an infection of the hair follicles and put me on antibiotics with no change. He then cut one spot out to do a biopsy and it came back as a form of psoriasis and I was told it was probably the change in hormones from having a baby. A skin specialist jokingly said it might go away if I have another baby lol.
Well it eventually settled down and was just big patches on my knees, elbows and some through my hair. I had another baby and there was no change
Now I'm due for my 5th in September, and the spots are coming back - boobs, back, legs and tummy! Hopefully this time it'll disappear for good once baby is born.
Doctor said psoriasis is related to asthma and eczema which are both quite common in my family, but I'm the only one with psoriasis...
Hopefully yours is just pregnancy related!
