    Default Low placenta

Has anyone else experienced a low placenta in their first pregnancy? When did you start showing or feeling something? Just doing up to 18 weeks and worried I have felt or see a bump yet. But I hear that is normal for low placentas. Any advice would be great.

it is common for a placenta to be lower earlier on, they usually move up on their own as you get bigger, however your doctor will monitor it probably with another scan later on.
with both my pregnancies i didn't feel any movements until about 20 weeks.

    good luck

Hi, I am also in my first pregnancy and have low lying placenta. The doctor has told me in most cases it moves. I have to be checked again around 32 weeks.
I didn't look pregnant at all until around 20 weeks- I'm 23 now and have grown rapidly in that time, now looking very pregnant!

Started to feel distinct kicks around the same time.
