We had an unsettled start to the night, we were around at a friends house so bub had her bath there and last feed, then fell asleep in the car, woke when I tried to very sneakily take her out of the car seat! No go, so fed her again, still unsettled so after an hr fed again, then she settled. Maybe my milk was low. Plus she was really overtired as she didn't have her arvo nap. Then when she woke at 3, had a full nappy and cried for an he until 4 (she has never done that before!) so pretty crappy afternoon/night all around really!

Ha! Bit better, not waking after 40 now has decided she doesn't want to settle to start with, I think now it's become a habit, sneaky little devil! Might have to go a bit tough I think, sitting there patting and shushing seems to work her up more! Maybe a bit of crying (on both of our parts!)

    Hi Plod

when you settle bub for the night how long has she been awake for? I follow a program similar to save our sleep and it has worked well for me. I am not sure what time your bub has been awake since but if I were to wake my daughter for a feed at 7 I would try and keep her up till 8.30 before putting her to bed and then gradually bring the sleep time back. I have just got my girl sleeping from 7-6.30 but it is variable it depends on whether she has had a sufficent feed during the day as to whether I offer her a late feed but recently she just started drinking more she had been hard to feed and it would take an hour to get a bottle in and sometimes she would take 80mls other times maybe 130. She has now increased to 180-230 and she is having four a day. My thoughts are maybe try putting her to bed a bit later. Unless she is possibly over tired. If you want to PM me I could send you something I follow. This worked on both my children and had them sleeping well. Could be a phase. Goodluck
