I was just wondering, if anyone has used a menstrual cup as a way to inseminate a donors sperm? When we did the inseminations with my SO we used the 'turkey baster' method, which was successful (till the m/c) but time wise it was a tight time frame between when the sample was produced and the insemination being done.
With the SO's hours, it isnt feesable for her to come with me when we collect samples and not really able to go somewhere close to the donor to inseminate. So I was thinking of using a menstrual cup, as then I can just use a bathroom to put the sperm in the cup and insert it. From what I have read the sperm will live longer inside me than it will in a specimin jar and I can take care of other needs when I get home.
Any other thoughts on this will be great.
