The X-ray place I went to asked me to have bloods done one week before. So think it depends on dr and X-ray place

The place I went to will only do NT scans between 13 weeks and 13 weeks 6 days. They ask you to do your bloods 3-4 days before and have a copy sent to them so that their medical team can assess all the info to give a result.

I just booked in for my scan and tried to do it at 12+1 and they said that was a little early and booked me in for 12+5. Both the gp and the ultrasound place (who do predominantly gynae and ob u/s and work with the royal womens hospital) said to do the bloods at 10 weeks. This is also what I did with my last pregnancy when I had a different gp. Not sure how much it matters but I'm going with this advice as it's the same as last time.

Yep, your GP should be able to tell you what you need to know. I saw my GP around 10 weeks and he gave me all the options. Said if I was too late to book the public service I could still go private but I didn't need to. You can get your Nuchal scan up to 13 weeks + 6 days. I got my bloods done on the same day.

We got given the peice of paper for the scan when we got the positive blood results at 4 weeks and the Dr said to ring then straight away to get in (mind you she didnt care about the 10 weeks scan at all) When we rang the u/s place to book it they said they would only do the scan after 12 weeks and 5 days, they didnt say the cut off for it but if it had of stuck it would have been 13 + 2 on the day of the scan.
