Is this bad?

My parents have been away for 3 weeks and I didnt miss them. My son on the other hand has missed them badly. He's 23 months.
Im 24 and have lived out of home for over 4 years with my hubby. Is it bad that i dont miss them or a good sign that Iv cut the apron ties?
Side note, I only found out that they were on their way home after calling my sister who they had called to let her know.

dont think its bad. sometimes ppl grow apart from their families and with a 23 month old 3 weeks go by so fast and we cant remeber everything lol.
Dont worry i get my DS looked after for a whole weekend and i will count till friday and when he has left ill have a teary cause he is gone and if i go out shopping every child reminds me of him lol
