    Default How early would you start testing??

    Hi All,

    I'm in a weird place this month. After an all clear from a D & C and Hubby's massive improvement on SA, I feel this month is our first real shot at getting a BFP. I am currently 7DPO and am dying to test. I don't want to get obsessive and test too early because I will definitely be disappointed but I have been feeling off for a couple of days. My bbs are mega sore, more than usual and I have had the runs and I've been having weird cramp feelings. I know I am looking into it a lot but I guess after months of hoping and waiting and analysing, I can't help it.

    I want to wait for AF to be late but I don't know if I can bear to wait that long!!!!!!!

    When do you start testing?

    I just got a BFP last Saturday, 3days before af was due!

    I wouldn't do it any earlier otherwise you might just be setting yourself up for disappointment.

    Hi Tazturtle

    If you plan on testing before AF is due. Then your best bet would be to test at 12DPO. That way it's almost certain to be an accurate answer. There are always exceptions to the rule though.

    Yep. I was impaitent ... I started testing at 8dpo considering id heard people get their BFP's from 8dpo.

    8dpo = BFN, 9dpo = BFN, 10dpo = BFN ... I just couldnt give up. I KNEW something was up.

    Finally ... the morning of 11dpo (but Id been on a night shift so it was after id eaten, drunk, been awake for 15hrs etc ... so count it as last of the day urine) I had a faint BFP.

    3pm on 11dpo when I woke up from my sleep after night shift I went and brought a clear blue digital ... Clearly said pregnant

    I would say dont bother prior to 10 dpo .. If you can at all wait, 12-13dpo is best

    With this pregnancy I tested 11dpo and negative. We went away for a few days with no hpts. Got back 14dpo and had a very strong pos

    I'd try wait until 12dpo! I know it's SO hard though goodluck x
