    Default OPK and ovulation question

Hi everyone, I am a bit confused and I hope someone can help!

I am still breastfeeding my 12 month old DS but only once or twice during the day and once overnight. My AF returned in January and I have a 29 or 30 day cycle so far.

This month I have been using OPK's, they were all negative so I stopped using them until today as I noticed I had EWCM. I tested and it looks positive!

So, my AF is due a week today, is it unusual to ovulate this late? Also I haven't DTD with DH for several days as I had kind of given up this month and I have been so tired! It's not too late though is it?

Any info will be greatly received! Thank you

I ovulated on day 21 this month, I'm normally 14. It will change your luteal phase though, so it will be another 14 days until your period making it a long cycle.

As PP said, if you only just ovulated, then AF will arrive in another 14 days, making your cycle longer than usual. If it arrives earlier, then it would mean your luteal phase is shortened which could cause problems TTC if it's less than 10-11 days.

And no it may not be too late. I always O'd 2 days after I got a + OPK so give it a go! Can't hurt right?
